Location. Located just outside the far reaches of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Pyramid Tower at Sunway Resort Hotel stands amid the Sunway Lagoon Resort, an 800-acre entertainment complex. Adjacent to the Sunway Pyramid Mall, a shopping center, the Pyramid Tower is less than one kilometer from the Sunway Lagoon theme park and a medical center. The Kuala Lumpur International Airport is approximately 45 kilometers away.
Hotel Features. Enveloped by lushly landscaped palm trees and shrubbery, the Pyramid Tower Hotel presents a sunny, yellow and orange Art Deco façade. Inside the 10-story multi-tiered structure, a contemporary lobby greets guests. With its Lucite furnishings and mint-green and burnt-orange chairs, the reception area is brightly modern. Large sunflowers fill glass vases and gilded touches provide warmth. Hotel facilities offer an array of amenities. For rejuvenation, there is a fitness center and a health spa. Also, guests can gravitate to the mall next door for ice skating and bowling. The hotel offers five eateries that serve diverse fare, from hamburgers to black-ink fettuccine to sea bass en papillote.
Dark-wood accents and Malaysian artwork adorn the 764 earth-toned guestrooms at the Pyramid Tower Hotel. Large windows capture the resort's surrounding greenery, while inside the room, practical features such as desks and cable television prevail.
